Rehearsal Schedule for Friday

Stage rehearsal is on Friday, May 30th for all dancers participating in recital. This rehearsal is very important and allows students to practice on stage and get familiar with the venue before performance day. NO COSTUMES will be worn at this rehearsal. Please come in normal dance attire and bring all necessary dance shoes. *** Please come at least 10 minutes early so you can find the drop off area and dancers will be ready to dance at the listed time.

  • 5:30 pm – Monday and Tuesday Creative Movement 5:40 pm- Tuesday 4:30 T/B
  • 5:45 pm- Weds T/T/B (Please arrive in ballet shoes, bring tap shoes in your dance bag)
  • 6:00 pm – Monday TTB (please arrive in Tap shoes and bring ballet shoes in your bag)
  • 6:05 pm- Elem Tap
  • 6:10 pm – Thursday Hip hop/tumble
  • 6:15 pm – Monday Hip Hop/ Tumble and Tumble Tricks
  • 6:20 pm – Boys Hip Hop
  • 6:23 pm- Thursday Int Hip Hop
  • 6:25 pm – Weds jazz Hip Hop
  • 6:30 pm- Thursday Jazz/Hip Hop
  • 6:33 pm- Lyrical
  • 6:35 pm – Ballet I, Ballet II, Ballet III and Pointe
  • 6:45 pm – Weds 6:45 Tap/ballet combo & Contemporary
  • 7:00 pm – Tuesday B-I Hip Hop, Drill Prep and HS Hip Hop, Monday Adv Hip Hop
  • 7:15 All teams – Star Babes, Starettes, Shining Stars and Seniors

WHERE: Berkner High School Auditorium (across from the studio) St. Johns and Spring Valley Rd.

DROP OFF: Dancers will be dropped off & checked in at the backstage area. This entrance is on the BAND HALL SIDE in the fine arts hallway. We will have the doors marked. After dropping off your dancer, parent please walk around to the front entrance of the theater to watch rehearsal in the audience. Dancers will stay with our staff during their rehearsal time.

What to Bring -wear normal dance attire (no costumes), and all dance shoes needed for recital in a bag. Please be sure to label names or initials inside all shoes and do not leave any other items with dancer when you drop them off. NO FOOD OR DRINK WILL BE ALLOWED BACKSTAGE OR IN THE AUDIENCE.

PICK UP: When the dancers have finished rehearsing their last dance they will be brought from the stage down to one of the front few rows of the theater. Parents will pick up dancers here (in audience)
